ABOUT OUR LIBRARIAN . . .
The Maywood DaVinci School Library Clerk, Mrs. Donna Anderson, has been a CUESD employee since August 1996, and has served in her current position since 2000. Mrs. Anderson enjoys interacting with the students and facilitating two student book clubs each trimester. Her favorite Middle School authors include Kate DiCamillo, Suzanne Collins, Shannon Hale & Jordan Sonnenblick's "Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie".
Library
The Maywood DaVinci School Library offers 19,224 books to over 324 students in grades 6th - 8th. We have both fiction and non-fiction children's, middle grade, classics, current and popular titles to help our students learn and grow as individuals. Students check out our library books to read at home and at school. Each year students check out over 7,023 books to read for personal enrichment and do research for homework.
Students visit our library individually as needed throughout the day as well as with their class. Seasonal and special displays make the library an inviting and interesting place to learn and relax.
